PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method and an inspection device for cast hole capable of inspecting defects of the cast hole with high accuracy with simple configuration even when the shape of the hole is complex. SOLUTION: The defects inside of the hole of a cast W having the hole a, is detected by radiating electromagnetic wave of specific frequency from one end of the hole, and comparing the transmission characteristic such as passing characteristic and reflecting characteristic of the received electromagnetic wave with a reference value. Here, the electromagnetic wave is preferably transmitted while sweeping the frequency within a specific range of more than cut-off frequency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
