PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromate-free surface-treated material of an Al-Zn alloy plated steel plate having excellent corrosion resistance, appearance quality, workability and water-proof adhesiveness. SOLUTION: A surface treatment film which consists mainly of a vanadium compound (A) having tetra-valence, a phosphate and/or a phosphate-based compound (B), a silane compound (C) having an epoxy group and/or an amino group, and an organic resin (D) consisting of a water soluble organic resin and/or a water-dispersive organic resin, is provided on a surface of an Al-Zn based alloy plated steel plate with 25-75 mass% Al contained in a plating film, wherein the deposition of the vanadium compound (A) expressed in terms of metal V is 1-100 mg/m<SP>2</SP>and the deposition of the organic resin (D) is 0.5-5 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
