PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-adjusting agent capable of imparting sufficient anti-foaming property, skim-preventing property and smoothness, and also being added to a thermosetting film-forming composition so as to exhibit an excellent oil resistance. SOLUTION: This surface-adjusting agent for the thermosetting film-forming composition is provided by containing a copolymerizable substances containing a cross-linking active functional group and a cross-linking reaction-inducing functional group capable of reacting with it and forming the cross-linking between molecules by them, and having 2,000-200,000 weight-average molecular weight of the copolymerizable substances. The cross-linking active functional group is at least any of carboxyl, dicarboxylic acid anhydride, epoxy, isocyanate and melamine groups which may be protected. The cross-linking reaction-inducing functional group is preferably any of carboxyl, amino, hydroxy, epoxy and melamine groups which may be protected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
