PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving shine of the hair. SOLUTION: This hair fiber treating method comprises an application step onto the hair fibers of a composition comprising at least 5 wt.%, as compared to the total weight of the composition, of at least one silicone selected from aryl silicones and silicone gums, and a hair fiber temperature rising step, by means of a heating flat iron, at a temperature ranging from 150 to 250°C.
