PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary automatic packaging machine which can improve the finished state of a notch. SOLUTION: The rotary automatic packaging machine 1 is equipped with a side sealing device 5 which executes heat compression bonding in the width direction on a packaging film, which is transferred horizontally while it is folded at the center thereof, to form side seals on the film, a turntable 4 which actuates the side sealing device 5 rotatively, and a top sealing device 9 which pinches the upper edge of a packaging bag filled with a content and executes heat compression bonding on the upper edge to form a top seal, and a notching device 10 which forms a notch on the side seal 134 or the top seal 135.
