PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap informing system for a fuel tank which can inform the location of a specified storing place for a cap or a fail in placing the cap in the storing place for a person who removes or mounts the cap from or on an oiling inlet in an oiling work. SOLUTION: The cap informing system includes a cap holder 80 having a light-emitting indicator 86. A person who does the oiling work is perceived of the location of the cap holder 80 at the start of oiling, and of the cap being held in the cap holder 80 when the oiling is over as the light-emitting indicator 86 starts to turn on and off in correspondence to the progress of the oiling work.
