PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool by which a user can simply and accurately execute pasting work used to be troublesome of tack indexes to paper sheets, and also, can paste so as to make the entire arrangement highly attractive. SOLUTION: The auxiliary tool 1 for pasting a tack index, which is composed of thick card paper or a resin-made sheet, is provided with an engaging part 2, which can be engaged with one end side B0 of paper sheets B, a gripping part 3 which is gripped by fingers when handled, notched parts 4, 5 provided to the lower part of the gripping part 3, and marks 6 which are arranged along the other end side B1 of the paper sheets B perpendicular to the end side.
