PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water closet for dog/cat having such characteristics that an antislip element is set on an excreta-receiving surface(frame), thereby even a large-sized dog can make an excretion safely at ease without slipping, and by furnishing a washing water channel through which water flows in vortex, surrounding excreta can be surely put to effluent treatment, with no limbs getting wet, further, as the water closet is usable in combination with a tank or directly connecting with a water conduit, it can be installed indoors or outdoors, besides, by setting a sensor toward a ceiling, not only access of a dog/cat into/out of the frame can be surely sensed, but also a water ON/OFF control can be made interlockingly with the sensor through an automatic valve along with enabling training through a manual valve, ensuring choice to be made as necessary. SOLUTION: This water closet comprises the frame composed of an excreta-receiving surface inclined toward the center for the dog/cat to make an excretion and provided with an antislip element and a rim furnished on the outer circumference of the excreta-receiving surface, the water washing channel provided with at least one effluent port through which water flows in vortex, and an effluent section set at the center of the water closet.
