The method involves immersing a fragment contained in a confinement chamber of liquid. Volume of injected liquid is measured by measurement of associated pressure variation in an accumulator (9). Value of physical parameters of the fragments is adjusted such that the modeled evolution of the injected volume adjusts itself with measured evolution of the injected liquid. An independent claim is also included for a device for evaluating physical parameters of rock fragments.
