[Also in Division F2] A toggle fastener comprises a screwthreaded shank 13, a nut member 18 engageable with the shank and having a journal sleeve 20 extending axially thereof, and a perforated member 22 journalled on the sleeve 20 and projecting axially therebeyond, being retained in position by a flared end 26 to the sleeve, the perforated member having a bearing surface 25 for engaging a keeper. As shown, the shank 13 is in the form of an eyebolt pivoted to a handle 10 which is itself pivoted to a bracket 1 whereby the member 22 may be engaged with a slotted part 7 of a structure 5. The nut member is secured in position by a locknut 28. |
