Electrical circuit unit, especially a power module comprises a stamped metallic conductor structure (1) that is embedded in an injection molded insulating material. An Independent claim is made for a method for producing an electrical circuit unit, whereby a conductor structure is made by stamping a metallic band or strip and insulation material is applied using injection molding. As required other components are attached to the circuit support surface and connected to the stamped metallic parts.
