The present invention discloses an apparatus (2) and a method for generating a two-phase flow (BJF) comprising a first tube (4) for directing a first fluid flow (AF), a second tube (8) for directing a second fluid flow (IWF) and a third tube (6) for directing a third fluid flow (EWF), wherein the first, second and third tube (4, 6, 8) are disposed essentially parallel to each other, said first tube (4) is inserted at least partially and essentially symmetrically within the second tube (8) which extends over the orifice of the first tube (4) as seen in the flow direction of the first fluid flow (AF), and the second tube (8) is aligned within the third tube (6) which extends over the orifice of the second tube (8), whereby the second and the third tube (6, 8) have respective fluid supply means (12, 14) disposed upstream which control the second fluid flow (IWF) and the third flow (EWF) separately. <IMAGE>
