Network with flexible multimedia data routing

After being activated/connected, a first network subscriber (NS)/network node (1a) has links to communicate with other NS and acts as a transmitter so as to feed streamed data automatically into a network as broadcasts/multicasts. Another NS acts as a receiver. The first NS has a network interface (4) and an application (3), e.g. to represent the NS's multiple different functionalities. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A subscriber for a digital network; (B) and for a method for operating a digital network.
