PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing the image quality of an image corrected at its image stain due to a stain of a read position as compared with the prior art at an original reading time while feeding the original. SOLUTION: A system for processing the image conducts correcting for replacing a value of a pixel corresponding to a stained part of the image with values of a plurality of adjacent pixels in response to its width by reading the stain by a dust correcting processor 35 when the stain of the original reading unit is sensed before reading the original by a copier while feeding the original. |
