PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can appropriately assist an operation. SOLUTION: A stereoscopic viewer system is composed of a viewer body, small-sized cameras 1, 2 for the left and right eyes, mounted in the viewer body so that the photographing center axes thereof are set to be in substantially parallel with the eye sight line of an observer, a measuring part 4 for measuring the position and direction of the viewer body, an operation assisting date preparing part 5 for preparing data which can assist an operation, depending upon a position and a direction measured by the measuring part 4, and monitors 7, 8 for the left and right eyes, stored in the viewer body, for displaying thereon images picked up by the cameras 1, 2 together with the operation assisting data. |
