<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image forming apparatus with good operationality whose operation for reservation-registration can be easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a registration means which registers a plurality of jobs that are a work unit handled by the image forming apparatus including an image forming process, an image reading means which reads an image data from an original, a control means which manages and performs the job registered in the above registration means. The above control means is the image forming apparatus which can receive the reservation-registration of a new job after finishing a reading operation of the job by the above image reading means when the job being currently executed exists, the above control means initiates an output operation of the above next job reserved before finishing the output operation of the above job being currently executed when it is determined that continuous output is possible in case that the job being currently executed passes a predetermined timing and a reserved next job exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
