<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, capable of easily and reliably performing verification, directions, modification and the like for operation modes, even if it has minimal display area of contents enabled for display at one time, along with a changing method for the operation of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor enters a stand-by condition at the end of an initialization procedure, and the current date and time are displayed on a display section 13, along with the abbreviation for a current-incoming mode. Then, whether an incoming mode key 111 is depressed is decided, and when it is decided as being affirmative, the incoming mode is held in a telephone/facsimile switching mode, without renewal of the contents of a random access memory (RAM) 5, and "Fax/Tel Mode" is displayed on the display section 13. Next, whether the mode key 111 is depressed is decided again. When the mode key 111 has been depressed, the depression of the mode key 111 is decided as being a command for switching to the manual mode, and the contents of the RAM 5 are updated with the display of "Manual Mode" on the display section 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
