PURPOSE: Boiled rice with assorted mixtures of fresh vegetables effective against the fatness and its manufacturing method are provided. The product is low in calories and carbohydrate and high in nutrition and thus is effective in suppressing obesity. CONSTITUTION: The method of making boiled rice with assorted mixtures of fresh vegetables comprises; preparing a cooked rice product of germinated brown rice; preparing red pepper paste sauce, soybean paste sauce and soy sauce; preparing dropworts, konjak, green tea leaf, pickled bean with vinegar, bamboo sprouts, cucumber, kale, wax gourd, chicory or the like; preparing two or more vegetables of the season, carrot, mushroom, tomato, laver powder and mung-bean jelly; and mixing the above materials. The cooked rice product of germinated brown rice is prepared by immersing germinated brown rice with a sprout of 2.5 to 5mm in water for 5 to 6hr, immersing polished rice and beans in water for 30 to 40min and 20 to 30min respectively, washing chestnuts, jujubes, pine-nuts and gingko nuts and then boiling the materials in water. |
