A junction plate assembly for simultaneously connecting a plurality of hydraulic undersea couplings 12, 36 has gear driven cam followers 40 on the circumference of a generally circular junction plate 10, and curved cam tracks 32 on a corresponding junction plate 20 to urge the plates together or apart. The gears 22, 24, 26 can provide significant mechanical advantage in moving the junction plates, allowing larger plates with more hydraulic coupling members to be used for connections to be made up by a diver or a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). The gears may be driven by a T-handle which could be operated by a diver or ROV, or may be provided with a hex adapter for use by an ROV.
