<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing an opening for a window or an entrance/exit in an existing masonry construction wall. SOLUTION: Multiple through holes 4 are horizontally formed in a line in the existing brick wall 1, two C-shaped channels 6 are laterally disposed on the front/rear of the existing brick wall 1 in such a state as matching their holes to each other, a PC(Prestressed Concrete) steel bar 7 is inserted into the holes of one C-shaped channel 6, the established brick wall 1, and the other C-shaped channel 6 in this order, the PC steel bar 7 is tensed by a hydraulic jack so as to shorten the interval between the C-shaped channels 6 and fixed by nuts 8, and a part of the existing brick wall 1 is pressurized by and supported to the pair of front/rear C-shaped channels 6. The all the bricks 1a positioned in a planned opening part 3 are removed by being cut by a cutter along a cutting line 2 so as to form a large opening 9 for working. Concrete 10 is placed in the appearing end faces of the existing brick wall 1 and an opening 12 having lintel 11 in its upper part is formed in the existing brick wall 1. The pair of front/rear C-shaped channels 6 are removed, and the through hole 4 is filled so that the construction of the opening 12 in the existing brick wall is completed.</p> |
