The N rising oscillations and N decaying oscillations that are generated in positive and negative time shifts, are positioned on signal portion such that end of rising oscillation is positioned at end of signal portion and start of decaying oscillation is positioned at start of signal portion respectively. The positive time shift having signal portion is selected, and number is calculated using specific formula comprising shift. An independent claim is also included for nuclear magnetic resonance or magnetic resonance imaging spectrometer.
