<p>A sun visor (10) that has a core (12) formed of first and second foldable halves (20, 22). A guide is mounted on one of the core halves and receives a support arm (16, 18). A carrier (120) has a through aperture. The support arm moveably extends through the guide into the carrier. Ribs (154, 156) are formed on each of the core halves (20, 22) and respectively engage oppositely opening channels (150, 152) in the carrier (120) to support sliding movement of the carrier and the core as the core is moved relative to the support arm. In a non-sliding configuration, a short length support arm extends through the guide with the carrier, with the carrier non-moveably mounted in the guide.</p> |
