A process for cautious long-time storage of collection cultures of dermatophytes by growing thereof on semi-liquid nutrient media and liophilization, in which process selected is for a long-time the fungal culture with all structural elements thereof (mycelium hyphae, macronidiums, microconidiums, arthrospores, chlamydospores etc.), and as protective medium used is solution containing gelatin, sucrose and peptone with additives of salts of macro- and microelements.
