A method of determining the degree of influence of norm-forming factors on the labour consumption of milk production includes differentiation of farms with the same level of animal productivity, work organization conditions, normatives of time consumption depending on the farm sizes and methods of keeping cows with the following elemental and total determination of the working process. First the cows are grouped in test groups with a various amount of the animals, various methods of keeping, preparing and delivering the feeds. The energy level of feeding is changed within the ranges of 15-20 percents and coefficients are determined, while calculating which the least labour-intensiveness of serving 100 cows, which is set under the stipulation of the highest labour productivity and it is determined according to a formula, is taken as a unit.
