Invention concerns agricultural production, in particular, the methods of drying the grain in the systems of supply of hot air directly upstream of the fans of drying areas or in the reconstructed drying apparatuses. The method of drying the grain materials includes the formation of initial coolant flow by mixing of the main flow of atmospheric air with the air flow heated in the plasmatrone, and the blowing by initial flow of the layer of initial material at a temperature corresponding to the temperature interval of drying of this kind of grain. The keeping of drying modes is ensured by changing the parameters of heat-transfer agent, in this case the adjustment of the air flow heated in theplasmatrone, along the channel of power (current and voltage of discharge) and air consumption for plasmatrone allow to attain required parameters of drying. Invention allows the improvement in heat exchange conditions, which leads to the intensification of the process of drying, the consumption of heat-transfer agent is decreased thus reducing the power consumption.
