An oil-control ring with spiral reamer, mostly of box type, with I-like profile with one plane of symmetry, with split in circle û the lock of the ring, has the upper and the lower shelves connected to each other by link in the body of which drainingwindows are provided. The number of the draining windows is not less than 20. The ratio of the length of the draining window to the length of the gap between two neighboring draining windows is 0.7 û 1.25. The ratio of the thickness of the link to the radial thickness of the ring is 0.08-0.21.
