Inkjet printing device (1) has a print table for moving a print medium (3), a first print head arrangement (32) and a second print head arrangement (31). The nozzles of the two print head arrangements are arranged in rows and are placed at a distance from each other relative to the medium displacement direction. The ratio of the separation of the nozzles in the two print-heads is a rational number that is greater than one. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (A) a color printing method for inkjet printers; (B) a further inket printing device and; (C) a printed image comprising a print medium and an applied color image.
