The method involves digging a well in a manner to clear a main pipe (2) having an upper edge (10) extending at an upper level (12). A support surface (16) of a branching connector (14) is positioned against the pipe such that a neck (18) of the connector is under the upper level. A branch pipe is connected with the main pipe. The well digging is stopped by maintaining the branch pipe under the level. An independent claim is also included for a fluid such as water or gas, distributing under ground network portion.
