The invention is characterized in that a hollow channel (25) of the hollow profile (24) has a cross-section or a width and/or thickness that corresponds to a cross-section or a width and/or thickness of the spring rail (20) or that is slightly smaller than that of the spring rail. The invention also relates to a method for producing a corresponding window wiper, which is characterized in that the hollow channel (25) is expanded while the spring rail (20) is inserted.
