PURPOSE: A jet propulsion engine using discharged exhaust gas is provided to obtain strong propulsive power by rotating a fan in the high density exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A jet propulsion engine comprises: a combustion chamber(14) burning fuel by injecting the fuel to the compressed air; a turbine(16) rotating by the high pressure exhaust gas discharged from the combustion chamber; a rotating shaft(26) combined to the rotational center of the turbine; and a fan(30) combined to the rotating shaft to generate propulsive force by rotating in the exhaust gas. When fan blades(31) rotate, exhaust gas flowing between the fan blades is thrust rearwardly. Thus, forward propulsive force is obtained. Since the fan rotates the blades in he exhaust gas of which density is higher than that of air, strong propulsive force is obtained. The exhaust gas passing through the fan generates forward propulsive force without dispersion. Thus, loss of forward propulsive energy is prevented. |
