PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge rotation type mobile terminal whereby operations such as key entry can be carried out by moving an operation section in the width direction even when the mobile terminal is folded with a display section placed in front, ease of carrying, no deterioration in the operability and also ease of connection between the operation section and the main body part are attained even when the operation section is moved in the width direction, excellent outward appearance in terms of the design is attained, stable operations such as key entry can be attained, and sufficient strength of the mobile terminal against a fall or the like is obtained. SOLUTION: The problems above are solved by the hinge rotation type mobile terminal that is provided with: a first case including the display section; a second case including the movable operation section and the main body part provided with a recessed part wherein the operation section is contained; and the hinge whereby the first and second cases are freely made openable/closable and revolvable and acting like a joining member, and the operation section of which is movable in the width direction.
