PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein heat efficiency is low, wherein a time is required, and wherein a lot of energy is lost wastefully, because flame and heat are lost to an outside from a bottom of a pan or the like when putting the pan or the like in use of a kitchen range. SOLUTION: In this cylinder for surrounding the flame and the heat to save the energy, either of a cylinder main body 1 or 2 is put between a tripot 6 and a receiving dish 7 of the kitchen range 5 to surround a burner 7, the main body surrounding the flame and the heat is cylindrical, the main body 1 comprises a transparent heat resistant material capable of confirming the flame, the main body 2 comprises an opaque heat resistant material and is provided with a plurality of flame confirming holes 3 to confirm the flame from the outside, because it is opaque, and a reflecting plate 4 is provided in an inside of the main body 2 to make one portion thereof inclined to its outside.
