PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful electromagnetic wave cooking container which enables the direct heating of the ingredients and soups by the heat generated from a heating plate placed within the body of the container by making the heating plate handy to load or unload for the tight fixing thereof on the body of the container. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave cooking container includes the body 1 thereof as a china ware which is a top open vessel to house the ingredients 7 and the soup 6 and the heating plate 3 which is placed on the inner bottom surface 10a of the body 1 of the container, has the body 1 thereof put on the electromagnetic wave cooking device 5 and can produce heat with the generation of a magnetic field of the cooking device 5. A lateral hole part 17 hollowed outward horizontally is formed encircling the portion linked to the side wall 11 from the bottom part 10 of the body 1 of the container while an elastically deformable engaging protruded part 35 is formed on the heating plate 3 being extended outward from the body 3A of the heating plate. Thus, the heating plate 3 can be engaged with the inner bottom surface 10a of the body 1 of the container by making the engaging protruded part 35 elastically deform to be fitted into the lateral hole part 17.
