PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus where deterioration of S/N caused by a long coaxial cable and deterioration of spatial resolution caused by a small opening for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves are improved. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with: an ultrasonic transducer 13 consisting of a pair of piezoelectric vibrators 11 and 12; a pulser means 14 for applying voltage to the piezoelectric transducer 11 to generate ultrasonic waves; a received signal processing means 15 for processing a signal by using an ultrasonic received signal received by the pair of piezoelectric vibrators 11 and 12; and a display 25 for displaying an ultrasonic diagnostic image. received signal processing means 15 multiplies the frequency of the ultrasonic received signal received by the pair of piezoelectric transducers 11 and 12.
