PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a posture correcting implement which solves the condition of stiff shoulders etc. by simply softening the tensed state of muscles by oneself and correcting a posture in addition. SOLUTION: The posture correcting implement 1 is provided with: a curved part 2 formed curved along the shape of the neck 6; a pair of grip parts 3a and 3b bent from the curved end 7 of the curved part 2; a pair of projecting parts 4a, 4b projecting from the one curved side face of the curved part 2; and an absorbing layer part 5 consisting of sponge-like urethane resin covering nearly the whole of the curved part 2. Then, a user H curves his head 16 backward with his will in the state of mounting the posture correcting implement 1, so that cervical vertebrae 13a of neck 6 etc. are stretched in the shape of a bow to correct the posture. In addition, vertebra stand-up muscles are stimulated by the projecting parts 4a and 4b to relax the tensed state of the muscles to improve the condition of the stiff shoulders etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
