PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting microorganisms by which the collected microorganisms can be examined in good accuracy in a filter for collecting the microorganisms which is used for an apparatus for rapidly examining the microorganisms. SOLUTION: The method for collecting the microorganisms can improve the accuracy for measuring the microorganisms by limiting the range for collecting the microorganisms of the target to be collected by limiting the range of filtration of a liquid specimen by installing a filtration range-limiting means 1 of the liquid specimen containing the microorganisms on the microorganism-capturing face of the filter 103 for collecting the microorganisms.
