Opto-electronic component comprises at least one light emitting chip and component body with at least one light outlet surface (30), which includes at least one partial outlet surface (41), not in one plane. Alternately light outlet surface may include several partial outlet surfaces (51). Neither light outlet surface (30), nor partial light outlet surfaces (41,51) contain focal point or line. Preferably opto-electronic component is LED and partial light outlet surface (41) has several bending radii, whose centre points are not identical and radii have different lengths.
