The vehicle motor exhaust gas cleaning system (1) has a cube-shaped housing (12) containing catalysts and/or filters between dividing walls (8,9). At least some of the gas cleaning units can be exchanged, with access through an opening (3) in a housing side wall (2) fitted with a closure cover (13). The opening allows the particle filter (6) and catalyst (7) to be removed for cleaning or exchange.
