<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, to which informational highly dense recording and reproduction is possible through the irradiation of laser beams having short wavelength of not more than 450 nm and of semiconductor laser beams having especially highly versatile wavelength of near 405 nm and, at the same time, which has excellent recording characteristics, and to provide its information recording method. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium has a recording layer, on which informational recording can be possible through the irradiation of laser beams having the wavelength of not more than 450 nm on a substrate. The recording layer includes a phthalocyanine derivative having an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an arylsulfonyl group or an alkylsulfonyl group as a substituent. Further, in the information recording method, the informational recording is performed through the irradiation of the laser beams having the wavelength of not more than 450 nm over the optical information recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
