<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method and an inkjet recording apparatus, which can bring about a high-resolution image with improved bronzing resistance, gloss and fretting resistance, and with no muddiness of color, even if a color image is formed by printing a pigment ink on a recording medium in accordance with an irregular thinned-out pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording method and the inkjet recording apparatus make a recording head perform a scan on the same area of the recording medium a plurality of times, make the irregular thinned-pattern formed, and make the color image formed by printing each ink. In this case, a nozzle pitch of the recording head is in the range of 10-50 μm; each ink contains a pigment, a high-boiling-point organic solvent and water; at least one of the respective inks contains a compound which is expressed by general formula (I), and has a surface tension of 30-50 mN/m; and the recording medium has a void layer including a hydrophilic binder, and inorganic particulates wherein the amount of transfer for an absorption time of 0.04 seconds is 10 ml/m<SP>2</SP>or more and wherein a mean particle diameter is in the range of 15-100 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
