<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for the use of an unmanned carrier suitable for manufacturing a work requiring many work man-hours and having a complicate structure, a large work requiring time for assembling, and the like; and to provide a production facility. <P>SOLUTION: When the unmanned carrier 1 travelling along a guidance line 5 by the operation of a travelling motor 14 reaches the leading position of a work region 3 conducting work for a work Z mounted on the unmanned carrier 1, the travelling motor 14 is switched to an intermittent operation condition intermittently travelling the unmanned carrier 1. Furthermore, when the unmanned carrier 1 reaches the dead end position of the work region 3, the travelling motor 14 is switched to a continuous operation condition continuously travelling the unmanned carrier 1.
