RECORDING APPARATUS FOR ARTICLE MANAGEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus for article management capable of saving a storage capacity and a battery capacity and surely storing only a scene of disposing varuables.

SOLUTION: A handicapped person 70 carries a PDA 30, and an RFID tag 20 is mounted on the varuables 60. A CPU 34 of the PDA 30 starts video clipping when the reception sensitivity of a tag identification signal transmitted from the RFID tag 20 exceeds a threshold TH1. As a result, a CCD camera 50 is activated and MPEG data of a field in front of the handicapped person 70 are written in a RAM 42. When the reception sensitivity of the tag identification signal transmitted from the RFID tag 20 is lower than a threshold TH2, The CPU 34 stops the video clipping to execute video recording. The MPEG data stored in the RAM 42 are recorded in a memory card 46 by a card I/F 44.
