<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a large amount of management information without causing a cost increase and sufficiently manage objects of management. <P>SOLUTION: A base cartridge 100A and a printing tape cartridge 100B including a base material tape 101 and a cover film 103 are attached to and detached from a cartridge holder portion provided in a housing 9, the identification information of the cartridges 100A and 100B are received by a receiving section 33 through antennas 20A and 20B and read into a signal processing circuit 22.
