PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation shield container which prevents exposure of treating persons. SOLUTION: The radiation shield container 1 comprises a vessel body 4 containing medicine bottles 3 storing radioactive medicine 2, a lid body 5 covering the vessel body 4 and a containing region 8 for the medicine bottles 3 partitioned by the vessel body 4 and the lid body 5, and shields radiation from the containing region to the exterior by closing the vessel body 4 with the lid body 5. Radiation of the containing region 8 of the medicine bottles 3 is detected, through a path 11 provided to the vessel body 4 or the lid body 5 to connect to the containing region 8 with a radiation detector 12 provided in the vessel body 4 or the lid body 5. The detected radiation information is indicated so that the treating persons can recognize the radioactivity level in the radiation shield container, without opening the lid body 5.
