PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform constant power drooping control to a load, and improve energy conversion efficiency on the secondary side and improve heat dissipation of a device. SOLUTION: This switching power supply detects whether or not an over-current exceeding a desired reference value V6 flows in an switching element Q1, switches a first constant current I3 and a second constant current I4 smaller than the first constant current I3 and outputs the constant current corresponding to the detected results of the over current, directly superimposes the first constant current I3 on a feedback voltage V3 in an input section, superimposes the second constant current I4 on the feedback voltage in an output section after conversion to a lower impedance than that of the input section, and controls an ON period of the pulse signals outputted to the switching element Q1 corresponding to the resulting feedback voltage, thus performing constant power drooping control to the lode 29.
