PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-accurate and compactible sensor unit, and a printing state inspection device using the sensor unit. SOLUTION: This sensor unit for irradiating a printing surface with light and imaging an image formed by reflected light is equipped with an imaging part having an imaging element and a lens mounted on the imaging element, an illumination part having a light emitting element and a lens mounted on the light emitting element, and a reflection part having at least one mirror for reflecting reflected light from the printing surface in the direction at a prescribed angle with respect to the normal direction on the printing surface.
