PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest which can secure sufficient holding strength for the head of an occupant, and is not a hindrance even when the seat back is folded to the seat cushion side. SOLUTION: In the headrest, a stay 4 where load receiving parts 4c, 4c bent in the approximate U-shape are vertically provided through extension parts 4b, 4b extending forward on the upper end of two leg parts 4a, 4a is embedded in a headrest pad 3 in an approximate L shape in the side view. The extension parts 4b, 4b are inwardly extended toward the front, and the width of the load receiving part 4c is set to be narrower than the width of the two leg parts 4a, 4a.
