PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a surface of a created object is shaved and damaged by using a ruler for positioning in case of drawing a design or a geometrical pattern using a vertical line or a tilting line on a surface of a spherical created object having different diameters between upper and lower positions or concave and convex portions, the created object being made with a pottery's wheel. SOLUTION: A vertical line position laser beam marking means and a two-split whole circumference protractor for ceramic art which is a doughnut-like ring split into two and can be easily mated are used for positioning the vertical line or the tilting line necessary for drawing the design or the geometrical pattern on the surface of the spherical created object on a turntable (12) of the pottery's wheel or a plate (13) set on it for use.
