A natural feed additive based on plants and including tannins from Aesculus, Castanea, Quercus, Juglans, Ceratonia, Quillaja, Vitis and/or Camellia as well as a flavonoide-containing active substance from citrus fruits or grapes. The feed additive turned out to be an efficient addition to animal feed in connection with breeding of farm animals, and it is a suitable substitute for conventional growth-promoters, which are not subject to a phasing out. |
