PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a non-tracking type reproducing device is required to mount a memory of a large capacity so as to absorb track bending and tape-traveling speed deviation, and data break down if the capacity of the memory is not sufficient.
SOLUTION: A servo device 16 controls the rotational number of a drum motor 18 to the rotational number which is two-times as large as the rotational number at the time of recording and controls the rotation of a capstan motor 19 based on a control pulse and a reference signal reproduced by a CTL head 17 so that rotary heads H1 and H2 may rotate in an optional phase to a recording track on a magnetic tape at the same speed as a tape-traveling speed at the time of the recording of the magnetic tape. Accordingly, recorded data of two recording tracks can be reproduced by two rorations of a rotating drum 12. Consequently, a required capacity for a memory 14 may be one which can accumulate the amount of data for two tracks which is less than that in a conventional non-tracking system.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
